Cancellation of a CHEETAY membership constitutes immediate and irrevocable termination. There is no end-of-billing-period grace window, no prorated refund, and no retained access of any kind. The moment a cancellation is confirmed, all membership privileges cease.
Section 1
Nature of Membership
CHEETAY is a members-only club sold as a recurring subscription, billed monthly or yearly and renewing automatically until cancelled, as set out in Section 5 of the Terms. Membership confers access to proprietary resources, live sessions, internal tools, and a curated peer environment that are maintained at a standard dependent on the commitment of every participant.
Continued membership depends on active, good-faith participation and on the conduct rules in Section 8 of the Terms.
Section 2
Cancellation Policy
A member who elects to cancel does so with the understanding that cancellation is immediate and final, subject only to any right you have under applicable consumer protection law. Specifically:
Effective Date. Cancellation takes effect at the moment of confirmation. There is no remaining access period or billing-cycle carryover. The membership is terminated — not suspended, not scheduled for future termination. Where the law of your country gives you a statutory cancellation or “cooling-off” right for digital services, that right applies and is unaffected by this policy.
Account & Data. The member’s GRID account, login, profile, check-in history, notes, to-dos and scores are permanently deleted upon cancellation, and cannot be restored if the member later rejoins. Export your own material before you cancel; it cannot be retrieved afterwards. We do keep a cancellation record — name, email, join and cancellation dates, plan, length of membership, and any feedback given — to answer billing enquiries and to meet our tax obligations, as described in Section 9 of the Privacy Policy. To have that record deleted as well, ask us.
Platform Access. Access to GRID, the session library, live workshops, internal tools, and all digital club resources is revoked immediately. The member will be unable to sign in effective the moment of cancellation.
Discord. The member’s role is stripped and they are removed from the CHEETAY Discord server immediately upon cancellation. There is no transitional or read-only period.
Billing & Refunds. Except where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law, no prorated refunds, credits, or reimbursements are issued for any unused portion of the current or any prior billing cycle. This applies to annual plans as it does to monthly ones: cancelling part-way through a year does not refund the remainder. The final charge stands as rendered. Future billing ceases immediately. Reinstatement. You may rejoin at any time by subscribing again. Your membership will then be at the price in effect on the day you rejoin, which may differ from what you paid before, and none of your prior data, standing, or tenure carries over.
Section 3
Rationale
This policy exists because CHEETAY is built on the principle that membership is a commitment, not a convenience. The club invests in each member from the point of admission — in onboarding, in session design, in the curation of the peer environment.
An end-of-period grace model creates misaligned incentives: members who have mentally departed continue to occupy seats, dilute session engagement, and consume resources allocated on the assumption of active participation.
Immediate termination ensures that the roster at any given moment reflects only those who have chosen to be here. It preserves the operational integrity of the club and the quality of the experience for every remaining member.
Section 4
Acknowledgment
By maintaining an active CHEETAY membership, the member acknowledges and accepts this cancellation policy in its entirety. Cancelling from GRID opens our cancellation page, which presents these terms before any irreversible action is taken and requires an explicit confirmation step.
